WELCOME TO THE CESP FAMILY

CHEVYS ENHANCED SPORTS PERFORMANCE

CESP was created to give athletes a competitive edge in performing at the highest level of their potential.

The techniques provided incorporate strength, conditioning, speed & agility, and Functional training for all sports.

It takes a lot of courage and determination for athletes to dedicate themselves to sports while balancing school and family life. Here at CESP, we believe in presenting a sense of freedom through an educational exercising structure that encourages learning while also enhanicng abilities.

CESP promotes Positive reinforcement. It's an important form for teaching young athletes new development skills, especially for those who are new to sports training. We understand the time it takes to achieve goals, on top of the difficulty of seeking success through hard work. We hold ourselves accountable for understanding athletes' individual needs for their success.

I have been blessed to give back to my community by leading free training sessions and working with clients of all skills and abilities. My philosophy:  "There isn't a limitation on learning, regardless of age, we are able to adapt to anything we set our minds to." This motivates my clients to push through the daily battles we face in life.

CHEVY WALKER

ABOUT ME

My name is Chevy Walker. I was born and raised in Bellevue, Washington, just down the street from the renowned Bellevue High School. I played three sports from the start of my athletic career and through my final year of high school. I participated in multiple programs (Bellevue Wolverines, Newport Knights, & Eastside Catholic Crusaders) which helped me develop various skill sets from a variety of competitive teams, on several different playing fields. While attending Eastside Catholic High School, I was a three-sport Varsity Athlete for the entirety of my career, earning many titles, such as First Team All-Metro, All-State, Metro-MVP, and State-Contender. After high school, I received a full-ride football scholarship from Portland State University. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. As for football, I helped my team break multiple NCAA records, including recognition as one of the top teams in the country, rating as the ‘the top Defense’, and achieving the best record in school history while making a title run for a National Championship.

After graduating college, I wanted to create a business that would inspire individuals to pursue their dreams through the life of fitness. While attending high school, I volunteered for a local CrossFit gym. There, I instructed youth athletes in calenthestics, mobility, and multi-directional training. I also had the opportunity to train with Navy seals and professional athletes that attended the gym. Being in that type of environment, and witnessing people give their all to bettering their situation, inflicted a great deal of compassion for my fellow gym rats! I became inspired to dedicate my practices to those who are seeking the same opportunity of achieving personal fitness goals. I specialize in plyometrics, calisthenics, multi-directional training, weight/resistance training, and more...,

I create a personalized workout plan for your needs. Whether it is weight loss, muscle gain, endurance, or sport-specific,

Over the years, I have trained youth to collegiate athletes, working with multi-sport athletes. Currently, I have partnered with Kurt Ursich at ‘The Vault on Front’ to create a foundation of health & fitness for anyone interested in changing their livelihoods, athleticism, and overall health!

CESP - 5 MIN FAT BURNING | HIIT EXERCISE (IN HOME/FULL-BODY)

Family, the time has come to start on our new fitness adventure together! Click 'Show More' for a full description of the exercise: 1. MB SLAM TO BURPEE BROAD JUMPS 🦵 2. BURPEE MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS 🧗‍♀️ 🧗‍♂️ 3. BUNNY HOPS 🐰 4.HIGH KNEE TAPS 🦵 5. FOOT FIRE 🔥 - Rest: 45s - 1m after each exercise (100% recovery) - Repeat workout 2 - 3 times 🥵 - Duration: between 5 - 10 Min. - NO equipment is needed. - Use household items such as pillows or blankets as barriers for workout numbers 1 & 3! Each exercise consists of different ways of performing cardio: 1. We are combining three different types of movements to help produce a burn within our Upper, Lower body & our core. The Med Ball Slams are meant for our upper body and core. As we are working to slam the ball in an upward to downward motion, our shoulders, pecs, triceps, and abdominals are being pushed to maintain a steady balance within the movement. Part two to this exercise is the Burpee Broad Jumps. Burpees are another full-body exercise that works your Quadriceps, Hamstrings, chest, arms, deltoids, and core. Broad Jumps are meant to display the amount of explosive power an athlete possesses. Jumping from a (semi) stilled position isn't an easy task to do. So doing this for repetitive reps and sets will showcase how well of shape we are in! 2. We are doing two different exercises here for Burpee Mountain Climbers. Mountain climbers symbolize how strong-minded an athlete is. Because it's a full-body exercise that tests one's endurance, agility, and core strength. Not only are we pushing our bodies to its limits, but we are also enhancing some serious health benefits that play into our respiratory system. while we are performing this exercise, our bodies are also working to remove unwanted stress. This adds to enhancing our abilities to maneuver through obstacles that we face on the daily! 3. Bunny Hops aid the excitement of the workout. This is a fun way of performing a series of jumps to increase our athletic ability by being mobile enough to change directions quickly within a small distance. We all need agility in our lives to move and think quickly! 4. High knee taps give us a sense of rapid cardio training. When switching our legs, tapping each knee to the palms of our hands, we are working at a fast pace that engages our core, legs, our heart rate quickly increases, and our flexibility/coordination is being tested! 5. Foot Fire 🔥 honestly family, I love this drill. Talk about a drill that seems easy to do until your legs start to feel the BURN. we are basically exhausting our legs with this exercise. working the tapping motion with our feet generates a fiery feeling all the up to our lower abdominals! - Remember family, everyone has their own baseline of fitness. What's important is that you find your guide to building your temple of a healthy lifestyle 😊 BELIEVE & U WILL ACHIEVE! #BAYA!
